Position Title: Apprentice Installation Technician Reports to: Lead Technician and/or Project Manager Category: Non-Exempt Employment Status: Full Time Position Summary: The following job description represents the essential duties and responsibilities of an Apprentice Installation Technician which are to be performed under general supervision and instruction given for routine work and detailed tasks of new activities or special assignments. Additionally, the minimum qualifications are a prerequisite for this position. CES Integrated employees are expected to have a thorough understanding and comply with all company policies and procedures. The Apprentice Installation Technician is primarily responsible for installing cabling and major components for our commercial and institutional clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Enforce company policy and procedures to cultivate an environment of accountability • Support a company culture of peer accountability • Perform the day-to-day onsite installation tasks as instructed • Complete project tasks in a timely manner, maintaining quality workmanship • Conduct regular vehicle inventory and safety inspections • Demonstrate ability to read and understand drawings • Diligent attention to safety required • Install cable and infrastructure to support security system installations • Install Peripheral Devices for Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems • Completing work tickets accurately as needed • Other duties as required Minimum Qualifications: • Complete assignments and project tasks with supervision • Ability to obtain security clearances and badges as required • Ability to work on step ladder and extension ladders not exceeding 24 feet • Ability to lift 50-Lbs. • Understanding of how to use hand -tools and power tools • Demonstrate aptitude for simple networking, and electronic circuitry • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner • Proficiency with logging time worked accurately for payroll • Possess a clean driving record.
