The Apprentice Installation Technician is primarily responsible for installing cabling and major components for our commercial and institutional clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Enforce company policy and procedures to cultivate an environment of accountability • Support a company culture of peer accountability • Perform the day-to-day onsite installation tasks as instructed • Complete project tasks in a timely manner, maintaining quality workmanship • Conduct regular vehicle inventory and safety inspections • Demonstrate ability to read and understand drawings • Diligent attention to safety required • Install cable and infrastructure to support security system installations • Install Peripheral Devices for Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems • Completing work tickets accurately as needed • Other duties as required Minimum Qualifications: • Complete assignments and project tasks with supervision • Ability to obtain security clearances and badges as required • Ability to work on step ladder and extension ladders not exceeding 24 feet • Ability to lift 50-Lbs. • Understanding of how to use hand -tools and power tools • Demonstrate aptitude for simple networking, and electronic circuitry • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner • Proficiency with logging time worked accurately for payroll • Possess a clean driving record.
