Iatesta Studio is manufacturer of high end furniture and lighting. We are currently looking for a Junior Artisan who is eager to learn a trade. As a Junior Artisan, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, involving tasks such as wood preparation, metal preparation, staining, painting, spraying, and general cleaning.

The Company: Cuviello Concrete is a growing concrete polishing, terrazzo restoration, surface prep, epoxy coating, floor leveling and slab restoration company based in Stevensville, MD with primary work in Northern Virginia and the Washington DC area. All work is on commercial construction sites. The Position: Cuviello Concrete is looking for reliable, dedicated employees looking for the opportunity to grow and earn more money based on work ethic and knowledge. · Operate large industrial grinders weighing up to 1,200 lbs. · Use hand grinders while on your hands and knees for several hours at a time. · Attention to detail with a craftsman’s eye. · Follow safety guidelines and operating procedures for equipment and products. · Maintain cleanliness of equipment, vehicles, and warehouse. · Assist with gathering equipment and supplies for each job. · Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles. · Follow safety guidelines and operating procedures for equipment and products. · Follow the instruction of Shift Leaders, Crew Leaders. · Perform other duties as assigned. · The ability to perform the following physical activities: · Working in crouched or kneeling positions for extended periods. · Walking 6 – 8+ hours · Standing 6 – 8+ hours · Bending 3 – 6 hours · Squatting up to 6 hours · Lifting 26 – 75 lbs Location: Cuviello Concrete is based in Stevensville, MD, however, our jobs are located throughout Maryland, DC and Virginia. You will come to the office for the hiring process and from time to time between jobs. You will travel from your home to the job site each day. (Hotels provided when distance dictates.) Applicants must have: · Work ethic – sense of urgency, reliable, willingness to learn and be a team player. · Own reliable transportation. · A valid driver’s license. · Ability to work extended hours when notified, sometimes during the same working day. · The ability to work weekends, nights and out of town from time to time as required. · Pay: Based on experience $15.00 to $25.00/hour PAY INCREASES WILL COME QUICKLY FOR THOSE THAT SHOW GREAT WORK ETHIC AND HAVE LEARNED HOW TO PERFORM TASKS WITHOUT CONSTANT DIRECTION. Schedule: Work hours will vary according to schedule demands and will include some evenings and weekends. Overtime in excess of 40 hours per week will periodically be necessary. Assistant Project Manager Full time – Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager As an assistant project manager (APM) you will assist the project manager (PM) with the planning, organization, and management of the day-to-day operations of various projects. Additional responsibilities of the Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager include: -Assist in creating and managing project budgets for all assigned projects -Develop pre-construction RFP (request for proposal) package -Assist in conducting project meetings, setting milestones, and formulating monthly owner reports -Establish job processes (RFIs (request for information), submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders -Update project schedule; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics -Assist in managing the closeout process -Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project Qualifications: -High school diploma required -Passion for construction and our industry; ability to recognize and seek quality -Ability to create and edit documents in Microsoft Office suite (ex.
