Home to two of the most popular bike trails in Maryland. The Cross Island Trail runs from the Kent Narrows to Stevensville and the South Kent Island Trail runs from Stevensville to the southern point of Kent Island. These trails offer amazing views of the Chesapeake Bay, Chester River and wooded areas teaming with wildlife. The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center is a 500-acre wildlife preserve located on Prospect Bay in Grasonville with tidal marshes and beaches and hosts over four miles of walking trails. The CBEC is home to over 200 species of birds. The center offers a visitor center, kayak launches, and is available for events and open to visitors.
