Job Description:
Scout Applicators provides aerial application services to farms, golf courses, landowners, and others on the Delmarva Peninsula using drones equipped for aerial spraying and seeding.
New employees will begin by learning about the many crop protection and herbicide products used in aerial application, safe handing, mixing and loading pesticides, as well as FAA regulations, submission of flight plans to the FAA and other related skills. This is accomplished through a combination of off-site training as well as first-hand experience during spraying projects as an assistant to the Pilot in Command.
A part 107 commercial drone pilots license is not required at time of hire but will be a requirement for continued employment. Resources are available to employees to assist in successful completion of the FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot exam.
Team members who display a comprehensive understanding of UAV Aerial application have an opportunity to be promoted to Pilot in Command, where they will be responsible for managing all aspects of spraying and seeding projects. Additional opportunities may be available managing crop health and other aerial survey projects with our mapping drones.
The nature of this business is very dependent on weather conditions (wind /rain) which means flexibility in scheduling is a must. We will accommodate needs for personal time as much as possible, but please understand there will be early mornings and late evenings as required for current weather conditions.

The Veteran’s Health and Wellness Foundation (VHWF) is a non-profit 501c3 charitable entity established by military
Veterans with expertise in the areas of health, wellness and healthcare delivery. Serving our military men and women
nationwide, the organization focuses on addressing systemic inequities regarding access to and quality of care for
Veterans and their families. Since 2013, the Foundation has touched thousands of Veterans and their family members
to assist with their healthcare needs. VHWF aims to raise awareness amongst civilians to understand the challenges of
Veterans.

DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS
● Assist with the management of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)

health and wellness
● Assist in the preparation of grant applications
● Create content to use in newsletters and other email communications
● Occasional administrative duties (i.e., minutes for meetings, place calls, respond to messages
TIME COMMITMENT
VHWF requests a commitment of at least 4 – 6 hours per week. Scheduling is extremely flexible: Applicants
may choose any day(s) of the week to complete the necessary tasks. A brief check-in with a member of
the leadership team will be scheduled biweekly (or more frequently if the applicant prefers) .
This is a position VHWF looks to fill immediately.
LOCATION
The position is 100% virtual. The applicant must be comfortable meeting using video platforms such as
Zoom and Go To Meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
This position is intended for students currently enrolled in higher education.
Individuals must have great writing and communication skills, non judgmental personality, and
professional mannerisms. Familiarity with social media platforms is required.
Those with an interest in the wellbeing of Veteran and military families, non profit leadership, marketing
and communications, and/or healthcare are encouraged to apply. Those with a military background either
as a service member or as a spouse/parent/child of someone who is currently serving, or who has served
or is preparing to serve, are also encouraged to apply.

Banders: Night Shift – Hours: 11pm to 7am, Days: Mon-Fri. Starting Pay $16.00 per hour
In this role, you will start out as an entry-Level bander, but with on the job training, you can progressively advance up to folder operator. Duties include: Banding paper bundles and product as it comes off our folding machines, stacking product in cartons, trays and on skids. Creating cartons for packing needs. Adhering labels as necessary. Keeping working area clean and free of debris.
Candidates must be capable of standing for extended periods of time, and show the desire and want to learn. With on the job training there is no experience or qualifications necessary.
