We are seeking dependable and caring Assistant Teachers to support our toddler and preschool classrooms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in growing in the early childhood education field.
Position Responsibilities
Assist the Lead Teacher in maintaining a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being
Support daily classroom routines, activities, and transitions
Assist with implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional classroom
Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
Maintain professionalism with families and coworkers
Follow all MSDE Office of Child Care licensing and safety requirements
Qualifications
Dependable and reliable attendance required
Consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential for this position
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work in a structured, professional environment
Prior child care experience preferred but not required
Must be able to pass background check and fingerprinting
Must meet MSDE Office of Child Care requirements

CAD Technician/Designer
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in land development design and is preferably proficient with Civil 3D. In this position, you will be working with civil engineers and planners to assist in preparing drawings and updating plans in all areas of land development. Must be able to work efficiently and cooperatively with others in a fast-paced team environment on a variety of different types of projects. Ability to work within a company’s existing CAD standards is important. Good communication and organizational skills are essential. Proof of good driving records is required due to use of company vehicles. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
*Lane Engineering also is willing to train the right individual for this role who has some experience with computer aided design programs and/or construction/land development.

Utility Worker – Collections (Mid Shift)
Compensation for this position is starting at the minimum of the salary range. This position is entry level and performs a range of manual tasks and services that support the operation and maintenance of the Queen Anne’s County Sanitary District in the Collections divison.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide cordial, responsive, and accurate customer service.
Operates various District systems under the direction and guidance of licensed operators and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, water and wastewater system components and otherwise assists the District to operate and maintain its systems.
Monitors water treatment & distribution, wastewater, and collection system operations.
Installs, repairs, and maintains underground water and sewer mains and other utility work.
Performs manual tasks as assigned.
