Strengthening the Emerging Workforce: A Career Technology Tour & Business Luncheon at Chesapeake College
 

We hope you will join us for a special kick-off event for Maryland Economic Development Week:  Strengthening the Emerging Workforce: A Career Technology Tour & Business Roundtable Luncheon at Chesapeake College on October 21, 2022 from 8:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Choose between a tour of Chesapeake College’s trades programs or healthcare career facilities; then participate in a business roundtable discussion that will offer the opportunity for educators and business leaders to exchange information on how to engage young adults in the current workforce landscape. Lunch will be provided.

Featured speakers include Jack Wilson, Queen Anne’s County Commissioner; Hazen Arnold, President of Hydrasearch Company, and Darius Johnson, Northeast Regional Director for ACE Mentor Program of America.

This event has been organized in partnership with Chesapeake College, Queen Anne’s County Public Schools, Queen Anne’s County Chamber of Commerce, and Upper Shore Regional Council.

The deadline to register for this event is Thursday, October 6, 2022. The event will be limited to the first 120 registrants.
