Department welcomes new team members
 

2021 has been a busy year for Department Director Heather Tinelli and her team. The office has added three new team members filling vacant positions and fill one new position.

Angela Hortert joined the team as Administrative Assistant and Visitor Services associate, supporting visitors to the welcome center five days a week and supporting the administrative needs of the department.

Rebecca Lepter joined the department filling the Economic Development Coordinator position. Mrs. Lepter comes from Human Services and a long history of relationship building, community development, and grant management.

A new position was recently created for the Career Technology Liaison position supporting both Queen Anne’s and Kent County youth workforce career development. The position is responsible for working with businesses in developing both youth apprenticeship and internship programs, connecting resources in schools and at Chesapeake College, and building awareness among families and businesses about opportunities. Connie Dean joins the team after many years working in education as a public school and community college councilor for youth.
