Description:  This is a Culinary work experience at a well-known restaurant in the Queen Anne’s County. This experience involves working in the kitchen and learning the beginning skills of a chef in the culinary field. This Youth apprenticeship includes taking the beginning Chesapeake College Dual Enrollment Culinary class. Upon successfully completing all parts of this program, the student will earn a Culinary Youth Apprenticeship certification from Maryland Department of Labor, and will qualify to remain employed with The Jetty Restaurant, and advance in this business.

This is a paid position.

2. Meet with your school counselor to review your high school graduation plan,  complete the Youth Apprenticeship Application, and                   register for the culinary class at Chesapeake College. .
