Centreville is the county seat and is home to county and municipal government services, a historic downtown, waterfront parks, restaurants and shops, and the Class A Centreville Business Park. In the town of Centreville you will find Queen Anne’s County Fair each summer! This town is home to under 4,500 residents (in reference to the 2010 United States Census), made up of about 2.45 square miles of land (according to the United States Census Bureau). Centerville eventually became home to Queen Anne’s County government around the year 1794, in which lawmakers and officials gave the town its name since it was the central “hub” of the county.
